The Jockey ClubJD Show Management is very excited to let competitors know that the 2013 JD Leap Into Spring Trillium Show Presented by T - Series has been approved by The Jockey Club to host a High Point Thoroughbred Award for both the Hunter and the Jumper Divisions as part of their Thoroughbred Incentive Program (TIP) to encourage the retraining of Thoroughbreds into other disciplines upon completion of careers in racing or breeding, Thoroughbreds registered with The Jockey Club will be eligible for participation in all T.I.P. classes and awards. Entry forms will be available on the JD Leap into Spring Presented by T - Series Website (www.leapintospring.com).

  • Hunter High Point Thoroughbred - High (3"0" and above) - Junior
  • Hunter High Point Thoroughbred - High (3"0" and above) - Senior
  • Hunter High Point Thoroughbred - Low (below 3'0") - Junior
  • Hunter High Point Thoroughbred - Low (below 3'0") - Senior
  • Hunter High Point Thoroughbred Award -
  • Jumper High Point Thoroughbred - Low (below 1.20m) - Senior
  • Jumper High Point Thoroughbred - Low (below 1.20m) - Junior
  • Jumper High Point Thoroughbred Award

High Point Awards - For each High Point Award, a high point ribbon will be provided.
Prizes and Prize Money - Prizes will be provided for each high point award and division.

Additional Information:

Eligibility - Only Thoroughbreds that have been registered with The Jockey Club or
a foreign Thoroughbred stud book recognized by The Jockey Club are eligible to participate in
T.I.P. classes and awards.

NEW for 2013 - Riders and owners should obtain a T.I.P. number for all horse/rider combinations.
T.I.P. number applications are done online at www.tjctip.com.
T.I.P. numbers must be provided to the horse show.
Hard copy forms will also be provided to shows.

CLASS TOTALS FOR APRIL 12 - 14, 2013
Will be posted on www.showmate.net

All trainers, owners, and riders are now able to register online for each horse show through the Showmate.net website. They will receive a user name and password for each entry. This will be used for registration purposes for each show during the show season. Please visit the Showmate Website at www.showmate.net.

 

EQUINE CANADA REQUIREMENTS

Please note that Equine Canada has set forth extremely stringent rules and regulations regarding membership and passport requirements. Each show manager is under obligation to provide the correct information with their results submission and will be fined and refused sanctioning if they do not comply.

Therefore each show must be very diligent in their efforts to obtain the accurate information in a timely manner. Please understand that it is not our desire to penalize our competitors, however we must do our utmost to comply with the rules set by Equine Canada.

In light of this competitors and horse owners will be required to provide proof of their EC, OEF and Trillium Membership Cards and Horse's Passport with updated sport license sticker at each show office.If they are unable to provide proof (actual cards, passport or receipts) they will be required to pay for a Temporary Sport License and/or Temporary Horse Passport at each show.
